Constitution

This Constitution has been prepared from a template supplied by BRL. This version aims to amend some outdated provisions and reflect 2025 needs. The most significant change is around Section 6, where it specifies the role of the Executive Management Committee (EMC) more clearly. Other changes include tightening financial provisions to ensure family members of the EMC cannot approve payments together and removing the restrictions for individuals to serve for unrestricted periods of time on the Committee. It also includes a change that was passed at the 2023 AGM to allow Life Members of the Sports Club, reciprocal voting rights at the Football Club AGM.

This is being provided now, so members can review the changes, as it is proposed that this will be an agenda item to determine whether the members are happy to amend this document, and moving forward, have this version as the new Constitution.
